About Kapila Shashthi

About Kapila Shashti
August- September; every 60 years during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada
According to Hindu astronomers, Kapila Shashti takes place about every 60 years, when several astronomical events coincide during theday.
There is a myth that explains why Kapila Shashti
occurs so rarely. It is said that when the sage Narada,
who had always been celibate, decided he wanted to
have female companionship, he asked the god Krishna, who had 16,008 wives, if he could marry one of
them. Krishnaasked only that Narada choose a wife
who was not in anyone else's company. Since all of them were busy enjoying the company of others,Narada
went to bathe in the Ganges River. When he walked out of the river, he discovered that he had been
transformed into a woman. He(now "she") married a
hermit and had 60 sons, which left her so exhausted
that she begged Vishnu to return her to a man. This
Krishna granted, but after Narada was a man again, the sons wailed for their mother to feed them. To quiet the turmoil Vishnu granted each sondominion over one
year. Each year of the cycle is named after one of Narada's sons. Thus, the cycle is 60 years long. The last day
of thecycle is Kapila Shashti, the day when Krishna
turned Narada back into a man.

Pitru Paksha : Do`s and Don`ts

Pitru Paksha is a period of 16 days that is dedicated to the ancestors. Donations are made during this time to pay homage to one`s forefathers and gratify their souls.
Karna and the Ritual of Performing Shraddha
According to Hindu mythology, the tradition of offering Shraddha (donations) during Pitru Paksha is attributed to Karna. Karna was a charitable person and had donated gold and other precious things throughout his life to help the needy and downtrodden. When he died, his soul went to heaven, where he was given gold and jewels to eat. Bemused, he went to Indra to know the reason for the same. Indra told him that despite donating many things, particularly gold during his life, he had never donated any food to his ancestors. Karna reasoned that since he wasn`t aware of his ancestors, he never donated anything. So Indra, allowed Karna to go back to earth to do Shraddha and seek redemption.
It is believed that it is during this 16 days period that one`s ancestors come down to earth to bless their kin. Tarpan, Shraddha and Pind Daan are performed in order to please them. Performing these rituals is also important because it helps one`s ancestors cross over to their fated realms.
The Ritual
The Ritual of Shraddha involves the male member, usually the eldest son of a family. After taking a bath he is required to wear a ring made of kush grass. The kush grass is symbolic of benevolence and is used to invoke the ancestors. The word "Kushal Buddhi" is believed to be derived from kush. Pind Daan, the ritual of offering of rice, sesame seeds and balls made from barley flour is performed. The blessings of Lord Vishnu are then invoked using another holy grass known as darbha grass. Darbha grass is known for its unhindered growth and similarly helps to remove obstacles in one`s life. Food that is specially prepared for the event is offered in memory of one`s ancestors. A crow, which is considered the messenger of Yama eating the food, is considered an auspicious sign. Next, Brahmin priests are offered food after which the family members have their meal.
Reading Holy Scriptures such as Garuda Purana, Agni Purana and the stories of Nachiketa and Ganga Avataram is considered propitious during this time. However, there are certain things that should be avoided during Pitru Paksha.
This isn`t a good time for new beginnings. Avoid starting anything new, even something seemingly as insignificant as buying and wearing new clothes, washing hair, cutting hair and even shaving are proscribed during the period, especially on the last day, i.e. Mahalaya Amavasya.
As per Astroyogi.com astrologers, getting married, celebrating the birth of a new born, settling down in a new home, starting a new business  and other such important events should be postponed or advanced so as to not to fall under the period of Pitru Paksha.
Eating non vegetarian food or even including onion and garlic in the food is forbidden.
It is believed that only when a person performs the rituals with earnestness and no malice at heart does his efforts bear fruit. Thus, it is important to clear one`s mind of all negative thoughts and pay reverence to one`s ancestors with utmost sincerity and respect. It is also important to refrain from pleasurable activities for the ritual to be successful.

Attract Wealth by Shri Yantra

Shree Yantra worship : Road to wealth
It's important to have money in the time of needs, to make sure of this, you need to use Shri Yantra.
Shri worship in the home brings completeness and good fortune. One gets money through good fortune which is achieved through being talented, which in turn improves your behavior, which then naturally makes you wealthy.
Shri yantra has all the 9 types of energies in it.
Tripurasundari devi presides over Shri yantra.
There are 9 layers of the shri yantra:
1. First chakra - in red - Shrim - if you do tratak on this, then it starts giving a lot of money; happiness; self-confidence; gets rid of enmity; gets rid of mental issues; helps one get married
2. Second chakra - gets you 'sarva siddhi', which you can achieve all through regular meditation on shri yantra.
3. Third charka - gets rid of illnesses
4. Fourth chakra - gets rid of all doshas
5. Fifth chakra - gets all your work completed
6. Sixth chakra - makes you more fortunate
7. Seventh chakra - gets rid of all negativity from you
8. Eighth chakra - fulfills your wishes
9. Ninth chakra - provides one with "trilok mohan"

How to Worship Shri Yantra?

There are 4 important things one needs to keep in mind when worshipping shri yantra:
1. Meditation is a pre-requisite to energize the yantra. When you meditate, your energy mixes with the energy of the shri yantra and that is when the worship begins.
2. You can only worship it in a home which has good qualitites. If in your home you use alchol, meat, tobacco, foul language, eat a lot of rich food, you fight with others, there's corruption in some form, you criticize others, then you will not be able to worship shri yantra properly and will not benefit from shri yantra's worship.
3. It's important to have " praan pratishtha" done of shri yantra before attempting to worship it; this can be done by you too, but it needs to be done by someone who knows what he's doing.
4. One needs to treat the yantra like God. The yantra must be kept in a yellow cloth at all times. If one intends to go somewhere, the yantra must be kept in a wooden box that has a yellow cloth in it and then keep it in the cloth.
5. The yantra needs to be worshippped specially on a shukla-paksh Wednesday, purnima, holi, and diwali. One needs to make oneself clean at first, greet one's Guru and light a candle, meditate on Shivji and Devi, and then meditate on the mid point of the yantra. After the meditation, one needs to do shri sukt paath. If you can't do this everyday, then it should at least be done on a Wednesday, Friday, and purnima.
Keeping the yantra and not worshipping it can bring negative effects, so one should not bring home a shri yantra, if one does not have the time to properly worship it.
One should use a crystal/sfatik shri yantra to get household benefits or in order to get married or beget a child or make the home more peaceful.
For money, a silver shri yantra is beneficial and it's important to chant " om shrim hring shrim mahalaxmaye shrim hring shrim namaha" for 108 times. When you reach 125,000, then the  yantra will become "siddh"  and you start getting miraculous results from this.
